Daycare at the Park

Our daycare lady only had two kids today so she took them to the park and texted me these pictures;

This one looks like it's Ridge's senior picture..

I have never seen a kid swing this big, I totally busted up laughing when I recived this picture because it looks like Ridge is from the "Honey I shrunk the kids" movie! ha..

Nuggets, perfect lunch to a fun day at the park!

Mothers Day Weekend

I had a great mothers day weekend! Friday Ridge came home from daycare with a wrapped gift for me and said "present mommy, open" so I got to open my gift early and found this adorable heart Ridge had made with dried flowers, I love it!
Saturday Daniel had to work so Ridge and I spent all day working out in the yard, it was so fun to enjoy the sun, get my flowers planted and the yard looking ship shape.  Ridge is a good little helper and very entertaining, my neighbor was working in his front yard near us and kept chuckling to himself from all the silly little things Ridge was doing and saying.
Sunday we spent the afternoon at Rachel and Tyler's house, they have a great house for summer gatherings to bad they have to move.  Everyone had fun on the swing set, watching the fish in the pond, riding bikes, playing KanJam, eating, visiting, playing catch, etc. it was a beautiful day and wonderful time with family.

He melts my heart! :)

Rachel and Tyler have a great circle driveway for biking!

Grandma giving Ridge bike riding lessons

He's good at posing on the bike but not at riding it yet.

Throwing bread for the fishes to eat.

Rather then getting pushed on the little bike, Ridge loved riding the big bike with Dad!

Ridge playing catch with Grandma, look at that form.. :)
I love being a Mommy, it is truly the greatest job in the world.  Yes at times its hard, dirty work and it tests your patient but it also has the greatest gain and the best rewards.  There is nothing more special then getting a hug and kiss from a little person and hearing the words "I love you Mommy"

Why didn't I think of this sooner.. Block of Styrofoam, nails, and a hammer equals one happy kid who is occupied for quite a while!

Ridge made a "Grass Head" at daycare, he carried it around with him for a couple days.

The Hulk!  My sister Valorie got him this cool shirt from Universal Studios in Florida for Christmas but it was too big so I put it in his closet and forgot about it.  Well Ridge just found it and was so excited to wear it to bed but not excited for a picture, little sinker..
