Lillian turns 3

Our cute little monster turned 3.  She is fun, and spunky, and oh so cute!
I wanted to make her a birthday treat that'd she'd actually like since she only ever eats the frosting off of cake. Then Ridge reminded me that she loves the free frosted sugar cookies with sprinkles from the grocery store, so I made a giant one.  It was perfect, she loved it.

These pictures crack me up since she didn't know Ridge was behind her making those faces, she was just being crazy for the camera.

Weekend with Family

After a week with the Burton boys, Valorie and Scott and Jacob flew into town.  We hung out at my house while the boys hiked Mt Eleanor then we headed to Castle Rock to spend the weekend at Tawnya's house.  Saturday we all got to go to and be a part of Riley's baptism, Daniel and I gave the talks.  That afternoon Valorie and Scott had a friends wedding to go to so the rest of us went to the little fair. Sunday we hung out (I slept all day since Bailey got a cold and was up all night), we had a little birthday party for Lillian, and I took Valorie's family pictures. Monday we all headed out to the Lake for some fun in the sun.  Monday night we headed back to my house then Tuesday I took Valorie's family back to the airport.  We all had such a good time, and it was so nice to have an extra long weekend together, but it was also night to be home and get some rest!
I snapped a few quick pictures of cute little Jacob, he's 6 months now.

We went to the Castle Rock Fair, It was small and perfect for the kids. They had game booths for a quarter where the kids won little toy prizes, lots of animals, and pony rides which I couldn't resist letting Lillian do.
Lillian waited in line for almost a half hour to get a heart balloon, she loved it!

We had a little family party for Lillian's Birthday.
The cake was a frozen chocolate banana desert and so delicious!

Helicopter at Mt St Helen's learning center.

We spent the day at Cold Water Lake, we'd been there a few years back and had so much fun so we couldn't wait to go back.  This time we had small kayaks for the kids which Ridge loved, and cool fishing kayaks with peddles that could cruse.

Poor Bailey got picked on by Ian while she slept, he stuck a carrot in her mouth, then put a leaf on her eye like an eye patch, and a sword in her hand and waved it around pretending she was a pirate. She was so tired she didn't flinch.
